Can anyone speak to the ice conditions at any Frontenac back lakes? Looking to get out today.

Thanks!

Most of the smaller ones are ok. Guys running bikes and sleds but some of the bigger ones just froze and might not be safe yet .

Same report as Hambone...small lakes are fine...7 to 10 inches on most. ..especially north of Hwy 7. Large deep lakes are just barely starting to get solid...I was looking at open water on the deep (100 fow+) basin of my home lake as late as this past Friday..

Strange year for ice...6 inches of black ice out to 100 yds and then suddenly your spud punches through 2 inches in a matter of a few feet.
If the forecsast sticks, should all be good by mid-week.
