Does anyone know if any launches on the south shore of the county are open for access to the lake? What about Finkle's...is it close to being open so you can get out through the gap?

Any insight would be great!

I don't think so yet.
If you check coastwatch (https://coastwatch.glerl.noaa.gov/modis/region_map.html) then you can see that it still seems mostly iced in right now.

To get a good idea of ice cover (on a clear day) check the satellite imagery at this noaa coastwatch website, click your way to Lake Ontario

The strong wind and warm weather has broken up all the ice, its still floating around and depending on wind could pack into the launches.. I plan to check in a week or so..
