Wow is right.
The Canada Gov. website still says no fees for PCL's.
There's talk of proposed fees,
https://tc.canada.ca/en/corporate-servi ... am#toc-7-2.
Canada (proposed)
$15.00 fee for new issuance, renewal, duplicate, or transfer of licence
Applies to all pleasure craft, regardless of length, equipped with motors of 10 horsepower (7.5 kilowatts) or more, including personal watercraft, which are principally maintained or operated in Canada as well as all pleasure craft (including all power-driven and sail-alone vessels) more than 6 metres in length with the exception of human-powered boats (e.g. kayak).
No fee to change owner address or to cancel a licence
Vessel registration and titling is administered by Transport Canada,
https://www.ofah.org/insider/2021/01/bo ... rt-canada/I'm wondering if you got the wrong form or ticked off the wrong box, because there's fees for boats with a name and port of registry.
For boat owners who wish to have an approved name and port of registry for your vessel, register a marine mortgage, or show proof of ownership, you will want to register your boat in the Canadian Register of Vessels. There is a fee of $250 to register your vessel and $150 to transfer registration.
