New to fishing - seeking mentor

Hi all, big city boy here hit 40’s and realized that my 8 year old boy should have hunting/fishing skills. Problem is, I lack the knowledge to teach him. Just looking for someone in the area that enjoys sharing skills. Avid fisherman need not worry, guaranteed I won’t be thinning the heard, unless what you fish for is weeds & branches!!

Guess I forgot to mention that I’m not looking for a handout, glad to pay any costs I incur…. If I have beginners luck and catch a monster walleye, it’s all yours. I’m only in it for the experience.
