Set up with my dad in Big Bay after walking out of Wagers. Got the baits down the holes about 4:30. Saw one fish come in around 4:35. Nothing after that until I got a perch at about 4:55. Then about 10 minutes later had 3 hits over the course of about 5 minutes. Each time they just lipped the minnow head. Nothing after about 5:10.
No electronics, so can’t comment on marks.
The hits came on a rattle spoon in glow perch, tipped with a single minnow head.
Talking with a few guys on the way in, sounds like everyone had the same basic experience. A couple perch, one or two bites, maybe one fish in.
