Hello
I will give you one location and one region.

1) Cold Creek (tributary to the Trent R.) has some but please note any regulations specific to this small stream.
2) Look around Ompah-Denbigh. Mostly lakes and a few very weak streams. MNR stocking lists will asist you in identifying various locations.

There are few coolwater streams in the area and a few lakes that are largely changing as temperatures have risen and invasive species have been introduced. You will find most serious brook trout fishermen in the area to be very quiet, given that the numbers are generally dismal.

Just a note from someone that loves trout fishing.

Brook trout are such a pretty fish. Barbless is the way to go with them, be gentle they are the jewel of all fish.

A surprising comment coming from Fryer Tuck isn't it. 8O

Yes, they are a pretty fish. I used to catch them in the credit river, they were small but fun on a fly or ultralite. a lot of fun. Barbless is the way to go.
Hard to find a good river these days. :D :D
