Hi all, we stayed at Perfect Vue Resort the long weekend of Sept. Like always we had a blast. The fishing was very slow. The east wind always makes it a challenge fishing.

On friday, we started off fishing around Ram Island, we trolled the Uzick spinner close to the weed lines with no success. We headed over to Shermans Point, on the way there we got a nice 4lbs on a yellow wally diver. A few minutes later, fish on again, this time it was on a Uzick spinner(orange) another beautiful 4lbs. We trolled another few hours at Sherman and only got another 2lbs. Saturday morning we were on the water early, started off at Shermans, nothing, then headed over to Mallory Bay, nothing, then tried Ram Island, nothing. The only action we go that day was in the afternoon when the winds started, in about 5 mins there were 3 foot chops on the lake, one of the guy was in a 14 footer let me say he was glad to get to shore. Sunday we got on the water late in the afternoon, we only got some pearch, no eye.

Looking forward to oct and nov when the big ones come in.

Stay safe!
