Quinte Fishing

Hi all,

Just thought I’d share. When arriving back to Finkles today, we were greeted by the new CO for
Kingston and Quinte. He was a tremendous guy to chat with and did a very thorough check of safety gear and livewells. Every hatch in the Ranger was checked while making small talk.

Some may not like the checks, but I for one am very happy to have some local enforcement. Too many people out there not following the Regs and not having the right safety gear.

His name was CO Alex Baird for those that care

Yes, we were greeted by Alex as well and had a nice chat after a pretty thorough check.
The main focus was on illegal fish on board.

Glad to see some enforcement.
