Heading to Quinte next week for our annual trip. Looks like a cold one......
Curious on how the bite is going?
Appreciate any fishing report...
Thanks

2022 bite was slow but caught 4-5 fish over 10
2023 bite a little better, caught more fish but none over 10

I don’t target fall eyes as I like me smalljaws better. From what I’ve seen it’s been tuff for guys to get out as winds have been crazy and launches are not favourable especially in certain wind conditions. I no there were trailers at Finkles on Monday seen them as I wizzed by heading out to the lake. Temps in the lake were 44-46 depending on where I was. Giant smallies were on fire and everywhere. Nice to meet you Turk sorry the bite was tuff for you. They were very subtle when they hit and you had to be quick to get hooked up. Good luck if you make it down hopefully the winds lay down for at least another day or two!

jignpigman, I hear you on the giants being on fire. Ed and I boated so many we lost count with 3 over 6lbs and a couple just barley under 6lbs. Been glued to windfinder hoping for another crack at them.
