*** FINAL POST from Superdad ***Good afternoon to all Quinte Fishing friends.
Dave (Jr) here posting on behalf of Dad who passed away last Friday April 25.This time of the year was always heavily anticipated by Superdad as opening walleye season is now days away.
Thank you to all who were a part of this community that Dad enjoyed sharing stories, information and 'bragging" about the day's catch.
I am very proud of my father for many things, one of which was that he never kept secrets when it came to fishing. The 'old school' who would never share lures/locations and tips when their limit was full and others were skunked - was not Dad.
I am confident Dad would want to encourage the 'enough fish in the pond for everyone' attitude to continue in his memory on the Beg N Brag board. If there is a walleye season in heaven, I'm sure he's getting his Uzick spinners and worms ready!
Tight Lines to all.
Dave
PS - Below is Dad's OBITUARY posted at the Arbor Memorial website.
