Fished half of the day on Friday, miserable weather - was soaked to the gitch. Managed 1 11lb of the boards dragging a modofied pearl stretch 20 with no weights. Saturday fished the entire day managed 5 same method and lost 4 (not good) 2 sheepers, Not a bad start for the season. fished west of the ferry, marked alot of fish from 30 down. Back up on thursday and we will give er again and try to top the previous catch. Released all with the exception of 1 6lb that took the hooks down deep and would not survive.

Hi, you did great considering the weather. Were you fishing East of the ferry towards the Gap? I am heading down tomorrow morning for a 1 day trip. Hopefully the winds won't be to bad.

Cheers.

Stick to the area from the ferry to the light house, maintain 80 ft + depths, if the winds are ok you should manage some decent fish
