Found a voice male on my answering machine from Tip of the Bay Hotel saying that they will not be able to honour my reservation for the coming weekend as they will be closing for the winter. I only booked the place last Thursday.
Heard through the rumour mill that it may be bought out to make room for a condo.
Anyway, thought this would be of interest for anyone who was thinking of making reservations or haven't heard from them regarding there's.

Maybe you guys are lucky. From what i've heard the management left a lot to
be desired. Someone got locked out of their room and had to spend the
night in their car.

Winter camp like RangerGuy. A real masculin way to camp. Heavy body hair (neanderthal style) would definitly be an asset. Why don't fish have hair?

Had reservations for late November and also received a call today. It closes tomorrow, re-opens in the spring for a bit and then is being torn down to be replaced by townhouses. I had luck tonight booking at Inn on the Bay next door to Tip of The Bay.

Picton had somebody do a study on the town and the first thing they recommended was to pull down the tip.
It would be the perfect place for a city hall but that will never happen.

Condos, I hope not, nobody ever gets paid for working on condos.

What do you mean by "no one ever gets paid by working on condos"?
