Got out again today but chose to go up to Madoc and see what was happening up there. Got on the ice at 3:30 and left at 6:30. Had some Perch action when we first got there and they were gradually getting bigger but then they stopped biting all together. Finally I get a Decent Walleye on the line but unaware while I'm pulling in my line to check it and I didn't set the hook. Nice looking fish but on the wrong side of the ice. There was less ice on Moira Lake then the BOQ ( where we fished). Had 6-8 inches of white ice on Moira and 8-12 of Black ice on the bay off Big Island. Can't give up yet, have to go out again. I'll keep you posted on my adventures.
