Was out to fish with BayBoy(Joe) on Sunday morning. Travelled in the lap of luxury fom his place to the ice site (not far from Shermans Launch).

Then we set up 'the Chateau'

Fished from 0910 til 1325, beautiful day , not too windy.

Saw a nice 8lber taken near us but that was all we around us.

Finally I got a hit at 1225 and LOST the fish coming up- DRATS

Re-baited tle Little CLeo and dropped it down again - five mins later - "Fish ON' andf the fish was close to the hole and went west and the hook pulled out - DOUBLE DRATS.

Re-baited and dropped her down, 10 mins later another one on!!!! Reset the hook and was able o get it out of the hole and on the ice.

Couldn't leave now - the bite's on!!!! it died and we left at 1325.

Good time had by all- Thanks Joe for the super day and the comfort of your equipment - DOn't forget closing day???

Stay Tuned

Hey Superdad, I was fishing right in the same area on Sunday. I caught 4 nice walleyes, a pike, and a couple of jumbo perch. I caught the last 2 of my walleyes between 12:00 and 12:30, so I suspected they were just turning on. It was a good day.
