I might suggest looking at contacting Quinte Conservation, if one wanted some more exact information comparing years and perhaps average flow rate comparisons of a particular river. I am very far away with work, but understand that it has been an extremely dry year in most of eastern Ontario.

Hopefully the fall rains will help bolster the watertable level, as it is not a good thing for the fish or a lot of other things.

Regards
Donald Stokes

I use to raft from Vanderwater to Obriens in August like 3 years ago no problem you would fly down that river now I wouldnt even think of it way to much walking for me! The bay is down quite a bit 2! I was fishing one cove regularly in June, was about 2-3 feet of water now that spot is dry you can walk out ten feet but it's also a good thing to remember things like the hole you mentioned for future years, I check the structure alot when the water is like this and it pays off when the water comes back. But it aint looking to good right now, need alot of rain!
