Nice pix!

But, uh ..... dude -- the fall walleye season is just getting started. Why are you putting your boat away so early?

Walley Dreamer is right on. It's getting too cold to fish on a boat once below freezing temperatures start. What fun is it to be miserably cold and putting up with frozen gear? I say let the fish be and spend some time with the wife. But give her some notice that you will now be home on the weekends so that she can give the boyfriend a heads up. Some people are even talking night fishing at this time of year. This is foolhardy as fishing now becomes an instrument of death. Take a step back and think about what you are doing. Take 2 for safety!

Hey Dreamer,

Nice try to block the lure selection, BUT we can see the Mann's Stretch Lure in the picture.

It's too bad you're putting the boat away, it's not that cold anymore.

Last Dec 16 was like last Saturday and yes it was cold and windy on Jan 6th, 2007 the rods and lines weren't freezing.

Decision Made - Decision Kept.

C U next year on BOQ.

One of our better days "last fall" was actually January of this year. We "only" caught four fish - for a total weight of 48 lbs. [3 x 11lb and 1 x 13lb].

We can only hope the Bay refuses to freeze for so long again this season! Maybe my dad's fingers will get too cold, and I'll have to reel in the big one for him.

if i lived near quintie. i would not be putting her away. but due to the fact i live in Scarborough. to me, any ways it's not worth it. to come up for a day. or so. i done three weeks this year at merland park for a total of 43 walleye between Kim and i so am happy with this years results. and 18 large mouth bass. and two northern pike. and now it's time to pay some of my bills. lol i be back next year. ps superdad it's not a stretch 20 in the pictures. it's a reef runner. desert storm. and the lure that i used in Aug Sept is still a secret. lol.it desert storm caught about four out of the 20 walleye. and another that produced was a new one that came out this spring by reef runner. called lights out. all fish were caught on reef runner. happy fishing, see you on the water. walleyedreamer.
