Right! I forgot about the satellite images.
You can click here for
recent satellite images of Lake Ontario. The images are updated several times a day with each pass of the satellite, however it has been cloudy the last few days and you can't see the water for the clouds. The last visible image is from December 5, and you can see the Bay is open from around Forester's Island [near Deseronto] on out. But that was three days ago.
It's clear and sunny today, so presumably there will be a good shot coming up at some point.
I'm hoping to get out this week - let's hope it gets warmer!
