It can sound weard to you guys but I would like to know what else we can catch on quinte in winter if its not eyes or perchs???

i know of the "heartbreaker"....

10+ pound channel cats hit through the ice, and make you think you have your first 15+ pound walleye on!

Until it reaches the hole. 8O

Depending of the location within the Bay you can catch muliple species, I have caught the following:

Channel Cat, Whitefish, Pike, Small Lakers, Smallmouth & Largemouth Bass and other panfish Rockbass, Crappie & Sunfish.

That's likely about it. (Anyone else?)

to add to the list is off course sheephead and this year caught a nice 7 lbs rainbow !! suprised me!!

funny how we don't catch a lot more of those sheephead when in the summer months you can't keep em off 8O :lol: :lol: ,anybody caught one this year yet.

I caught a mudpuppy last year. Real ugly looking thing. he was stealing our bait for half an hour before we caught him
