Took the girlfriend out for the her first ice fishing outing on sunday . . . i think she was bored before we started fishing haha. We were on the ice and fishing by 6 55 am. I wasnt out as far as the rest of the people, it looked like thier is a large pressure crack running right down the middle of the bay.

The atv had no problems in the snow, and i would say thier was 8 inches of ice.

Only got one perch. I dont think their was too much action around me anywhere, couldnt hear anyone catching anything.

Their was one guy driving a small pickup to his hut (i thought that was a bit ballsy).

Was off by 9 30 since i was struggling to keep the gf entertained by this point.

Thats okay the wife and I were out and we only got the one perch for our 5 hrs. of effort.

If it was the guy towing the red hut he was back out there and moved his hut later in the day and showed up with a buddy in a full size truck as well. So now there are two trucks sitting out there while we fished. Oh yah the 2 trucks were only 25 feet apart on the ice.

Was over by Cow Island Sunday afternoon. Looked over by Herchimers and could not believe there was 2 trucks out there and so close to each other to boot. Glad I was at least a mile away. I did manage to have a good run around 5PM. Managed 4 in 30 minutes. Smallest around a pound and largest was around 8lbs. Oh forgot about the little perch, was smaller than the minnow. All in all it was a good evening, except the long walk off.
