Boat show season is here and I've been looking at all the fishfinders out there .. and need some help.

I have a 19 ' Lund and do about 80% of my fishing from the front of the boat (mostly jigging in 20-35' of water)).
I am looking for a large /color fishfinder that would give me the most "bang for the buck" and that really works. I've seem some good Eagle brands in the $300-$400 range, that seem well priced up to some side imagery Humminbirds for $700-$2000.
I am looking for something that I can hook up to my bowmount that:
1. is easy to use with large easy to read display
2. clearly shows structure and marks fish with some detail
3. something that stands out as a great value at a fraction of the cost of other similar units.

Also can anyone speak about those side imagery fishfinders that Humminbird is putting out. Do they really work and are they worth the hefty $$$$.

Thanks
