MAN HOLES

People, "PLEASE", if your drilling your holes over 12 inches, "PLEASE", mark your holes with something , many guys and gals are going threw. We understand that the wind and warmth from the sun makes drilled holes bigger, but for other peoples safety and yourselves, take a couple small tree twigs out with you. Or maybe spray paint, some how mark your holes. We understand ice huts leave Hugh holes as well. We had a gentle in the store, and he broke his knee , do to "man holes", being drilled. Buy law an anglers hole is only allowed to be 12 inches, but most people drill 10 inch holes. Which is Lot's big enough.

Also take note that it is a criminal offence in the criminal code to leave a hole in the ice unmarked.

there was a report out of Skevy's that two different people had gone through the ice off the george st. launch. what all the anlers need to know is there is more current out there now than i have scene in along time!!that means that the ice that may normally be there will still be there just not as much. please if you don't know take someone with you or take a spud and use it, because one of these times someone's not going to come back off the ice breathing!!!!!
