Quinte Fishing

A good friend of mine told me that I'm a pretty greety fisherman, just for the fact that if I don't catch 4 or 5 walleyes I'm not happy! Well I don't know about being not happy because I just like getting on the ice and washing my lures but It doesn't feel that good when you get skunked and last week on the Monday I fished all day Big Island Shoal, Ship wreck, Point Anne, Trident,and finally at Big island. I caught alot of big Perch but no Walleyes(I even took out my wife ,I blamed her for getting skunked).

On the wed I took a trip to wellars bay and caught 3 walleyes and 3 Pike in the evening, kind of had to get the monkey of my shoulder!
On the Friday headed out to the big Island at the red bouy I caught 1 in the morning and 4 in the evening all the same size (4lbs) that felt like I got my Mojo Back!

I headed back to Wellers Bay on the Sat morning and the bite was awesome for about a hour, ended up catching 5 walleyes and a pike I think we got 8 in a hour there.

Tonight headed out to the red, I think I could of been the only fisherman out there pretty strong and cold wind, but It was in a nice in a hut with a wood stove I only got the 1 it was around ten pounds

I'm going to take a couple days off of fishing my wife is starting to wonder if fishing is more important!

Good report........I'm hoping to get to Quinte before the season's over, I'm catching Walleye's here where I reside but not those "Hog's"
