Not that I want to rush summer along however, I would like to start planning a fall Walleye trip. Any advice on when and where would be greatly appreciated.

Anytime for late September till November is when thise big eyes come in from the lake. Trolling in the open bay outside of Picton bay is good early and as it gets later in the year fish move into Picton bay.

Fish are suspended so pay attention to the fish finder to determine the depth. Fish can be anywhere in the water column.

Rogues and Husky jerks work well. The ever popular clown color works well.

Last year in late October was great for us but others did well in November and even December if the ice isn't out.

Cheers,

Mike
