Quinte Fishing

The fishing again was very good. Two of us got 14 walleye. Half of the fish were below the slot limit. The best one was 26" 7 lbs. All were released. They were caught on a spinner with a large silver swing blade [a rounded off willow blade]and red beads. We were fishing in 15-20 feet of water....Larry

If you plan to fish mallory bay,thompson's point or sherman's point i would suggest the public ramp past perfect vu resort on the north shore.
If you are coming from the 401 at Napanee take highway 41 south through town. About 5 km south of town you will come to a yellow flashing light turn right and follow for about 15 km. You will follow along the north shore past perfect vu and the LARGE farm[kaisers]. The road turns to the right, take the next left [launch ramp road] and follow to the end.
It's an excellent ramp with a cement pad. This will put very close to the action!...Larry
