Fished Sherman's Friday afternoon....it was beautiful out, didn't pick any up after an hour and a half so decided to give the Telegraph Narrows in Deseronto a try for some Bass, as my parents had been doing quite well there. GOBIES! I thought the Gobies were bad around Sherman's, the Gobies in Deseronto were as big as 9 inches! UGLY sons of bitches! There were a TON of 'em too  Only picked up one smallmouth around a 1/2 pound before deciding to go back to trolling and picked up a 17 inch walleye alongside the buoys east of the small island with the lighthouse on it. We didn't start trolling until it was almost time to go back in as it was getting dark which was too bad as I was marking quite a few fish. Saturday was a ton of RAIN, so we decided to troll out in front of Bayview in case it got too rough and picked up a 14 incher and two Sheepshead. Sunday, we went to the flats and didn't mark a thing. Went to the Church, NADA. Thompson's had a 2lb Catfish. Sherman's yielded a sheepshead, then got over to the little weedy cove by Sherman's and nailed a 34 inch pike! That was fun! :D 5 minutes later, some guys right next to us had a channel cat that looked to be about 10lbs! Made a quick stop at Ram Island and called it a weekend. I also heard that Fatman picked up a 9 1/2 - 10 lber. Sorry I missed you Fatman. The Social Butterfly had just come back to Bayview and mentioned that you were just on your way out but it was still a bit rough out for Joanne til around noon and by that time you were gone. Hope to see ya' before the end of the season. At least I didn't get skunked this weekend  . Til next time.

Ken
