Quinte Fishing

First, I would like to say I was able to put a face with a name---met Dan @ Blakewood Resort on Saturday. It was fun speaking to him. Now for the fishin report-------fish across from Pickeral Park on the far shore in 7-10 feet with anything bright green {worm harnes-mepps #3, etc.] dressed with a big juicy crawler. Caught many in the slot, and kept our limit for table fare. Also, fish were caught further east of this spot where the Bay narrows then widens into another bay and flats, fish between the rocky point on north across to the little cottage on the south shore. We also tried Shermans, Thompsons, Ram Island only perch and sunfish.

Hey Mark.. Nice to hear you had a successful trip. We're going to Pickerel Park this Wednesday for our annual fishing trip. I'll post a trip report when I get back. Is anyone else fishing Hay Bay next weekend? I'll be on channel 16 on the VHF.
