Channel Cat by the tail

Last weekend, I caught two Channel Cats over in the Huffs area (by the green bouy) by the tail :oops:

. Very strange, not really sure why. I can see catching one by the tail, but two in one day is very strange. Does anyone know why I'm snagging them by the tail? I hear they are a great fight, just wish I can hook them in the mouth so that they have a chance to fight back

. By the way, one was a 8 lber and one was 10 lber.

Hey Grizz, I get them a lot on the Ottawa when trolling Walleye and they fight like stink, and that's hooked properly. Could just be you got into a thick school of them and they were darting around alot...just a thought!...
