At this writing it is raining heavily in the area. The local forecast till saturday shows above 0 temperatures. Wednesday 7 degrees!! There is no snow in the area. Many of the protected launch sites have ice {the ferry site at adolphustown, picton}. It was interesting hearing about the launch site at the adolphustown campground just east of the ferry. It is south facing and as such open to the waves from the lake. It will take a major and prlonged cold snap to freeze up this area.
There should be ample water to fish in the area of the ferry and further east....Larry
