Spent a couple hours out from Sherman's point ramp
on Sunday. Showed up late in the afternoon. Not a sole
in site on the entire bay. There is 6 inches of Ice. There
are a few scary pressure cracks to right and left of ramp.
Fishing was not as hot as reported at Huffs. One walleye
was caught.

Batman:

Are you saying in a subtle fashion that some Quinte Fishers exaggerate?

I would wait a little longer to go out at Shermans- from what you describe, we are planning on waiting a couple of weeks.

Superdad,

Im sure the other reports are good. Since many people
were doing well in Deseronto and in the Reach at Huffs
in open water just over a week ago. That is where the
fish may still be. Hay Bay sometimes needs a little time for fish
to migrate into it. I'll try Deseronto or Quick Short road this
weekend.

I may have been exagerating about the 6" though. It was
probably on 5 inches. A woman would have been right on.
