Went out Sat. a.m. we knocked the hell out of them.Three of us got 15 fish,8 keepers the rest sows 9-12#. Sat. afternoon wind strong out of west there musts have been 10 guys in around us, saw one caught got some perch, first time we got some this year.Went out Sun.p.m. talked to guys coming in said the a.m. had a good bite,we got 3 out of 8 of us Taylor Clan.Found very spotty seemed like every 45 mins. somebody would get a hit.Sat. a.m. we had them all in hour 1/2. Mr. Champ was the bait for us. 8)

I was out today at Point Anne with a couple of buddies , we caught 1 fish probably 9 pounds and lost a couple others about the same size .
There were lots of fish showing on the fish finder but they stopped short of taking the bait most times . All hits were on a gold do-jigger .
Not a nice day to be out as boy , was it windy !

Went out to-day 1 perch caught.Buddy's out on weekend 2 25"ers caught,the bite must be in slow mode.Little hard walking a few slushie spots,lots black ice.Try again friday. :lol:

Tdoug, thanks for the email and directions. They have proven really useful so far.

Tried there this evening. Managed a few perch and a couple small walleye. Seems the story is slow all over today.

I will try again tomorrow,
