It was so much fun with the net logistics, cost, etc....that an ammendment would be needed to this very realistic model that taxpayers will never see come into full fruition (at such a low cost). One Fisheries and Ocean staff would be needed, to act as a possible liason on an as needed basis. Legal staff has already been budgeted, to ensure all bases are covered.The homework has been done......the commitment is just not there....regardless of support from every major group. This is career maker or breaker stuff.......such a shame.

Removal of gill nets will cost some $ to work....make no mistake....it will also mean bringing in some outside guidance......some good staff are close to being in position...but will never be accepted to ever bring this about.
