Anyone here know of anyone who's tried the Briggs and stratton 5hp 4 stroke :?:

If they run anything like lawnmowers they can sure handle abuse...

Wouldn't mind some info on them as it may be just what I'm looking for...

I'm told they're $999 at Leb's (Thanks Ken)...If you know anything please share..Thanks :!:

I to would be interested in how they are as I am thinking the same thing. Pretty inexpensive kicker. They are at Lebaron's. I've been looking at the one they have on display in Bells Corners.. The guys there tell me that there supposed to be really good. They havevn't steered me wrong yet. I'll keep an eye on this thread but if you get any outside info I'd love to here it.. Anything I manage to dig up I'll keep you posted.. Go Sens Go.....

I am around a lot of gear, but have no information to offer as of this point. How big do they get anyways in the product line?

The only one I've heard of so far is the 5 horse. Although I havn't done to much sniffing around. Yet. I think I'm going to look a little deeper into these units..

Apparently they're air cooled not water cooled, so I'd be worried about how loud they would be. If you can find a boat dealer that has a display model, maybe you can get him to start one up for you. I'd hate to find out that it was too loud to use as a kicker after buying it.
