Well how does everybody feel about this weekend. was the spawn early/late? teps higher this year than last or lower? With the weekend forecast wheres every body going to fish and what are yus all thinkin`?
I`ll be trying a little of every thing from jiggin to cranks and I`ll even give jerks a try. Hope to see the weeds just starting to come up. I`ll try deep and shallow. It`s always interesting to pick a few brains and see how every body else thinks.

The weather forecast changes everyday. Right now they are predicting 10, 30 and 20 km/hr winds for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The way it is now we won't be are changing our original plan of trolling cranks near Picton. We troll at night and the wind is usually less than so we shouldn't be blown off the bay.

Good luck to all.

Cheers,

Mike

From what I have seen the majority of the spawn is done. Still lots of smaller males and the odd female around the river in Belleville. My guess would be that the majority of the bigger females have released their eggs and moved out of the rivers to get away from the pesky males.

Will still probably give the mouth of the trent a go on one day and probably try trolling long reach up to and beyond the cement plant too. Good luck to all the board and dont forget to give QuinteFishing.com a plug or honorable mention while on stage claiming your prize. :D :D :D
