Left the house friday morning around 4:00am stop by Tim Horthon then on our way to Perfect Vue. Got on the water around 7:00am, fished Shermons Point for about 3 hours, no walleye, lots of perch.

Decided to go to Thomson's point, a few boats there, tried this spot for a few hours, again lots of perch but no walleye. Time for a lunch break, we go for a picnic back to Perfect Vue.

After lunch, headed out to Hay Bay region, this is where it all started. around 2:15, we were about hmmm 10 boats in that region, all of a sudden, the walleye start coming in, left and right. For about 1. 5 hour it was non stop action. We cought ours on big "O". Others were catching them on rig worm.

Total for the day for 2 boats and 4 guys.16 walleyes, 4 went back in as they were in the slot. 2 pike, nice size also release. All this in about 1 and a half of action!!

All in all was a great day to be on the water until the winds started..

What a day!!

Was that Hay Bay Region close to an Island?

Or close to a launch ramp?

Your trip was a success and everyone was happy- come on back sometime :D

Hi Superdad, we were fishing close to the island. We were about 10 boats in that bay area. There is a big house on the hill, we started in line with that house in about 20ft of water working into 10 and 15ft. Trolling, drifting and vertical jigging were all working.

We have already booked our Sept trip to Perfect Vue, looking forward to fish more than 1 day and have a few pops after.
