Quinte Fishing

Fishing out of Deseronto this past weekend with good result. Most fish under the slot, but a couple in and none above. Was wondering what the schools of small fish are swirling on the top. Seagulls having a ball.

Last year my buddy and me saw the same thing about the same time of year.I was told that perch spawn in a ball,we tried to get close but it would disappear and come up about 10' away.I'm just guessing,can't say for sure.
