Was able to get out and fish with my son on Monday evening. We fished by the Old Church Ramp and picked up a pair (16" & 17") one on orange and one chartreuse. Both fairly shallow (13-14')

Went to the Pig Farm and we hit another pair (16 & 12"[released]), one on orange and one on chartreuse.

Tuesday, Father / Son / Grandson out to fish, Shermans too windy to maintain a proper line fo attack. Fished west shore, north of Shermans. Trolled UZicks in shallow and deep water - Zero. We trolled with some cranks and my son hookoed and lost a fish on a CC Shad.

We had a decent storm pass thru Monday night, pressure changed, sure put the fishes down. Fished a bit on Tuesday PM but the wind didn't allow us to fish properly, so we packed it in early.

Wednesday, we headed off to Mallory Bay to troll down to the ferry, marked many fish but also saw HUGE schools of baitfish - I'm afraid they're here. Trolled south shore past the ferry, trolled Glen IS, and back to Mallory Bay, Thompsons Cove, Ken's Mountain, Shermans Pt for a last kick at the can.

My son - Dave hit a nice pike on an Orange Uzick.

We packed it in at 1300 and headed back to town.

We were happy to land the four we did, although some other campers hit four on Wed AM at the east end flats on the uzick.

Back on the 25th - Going to BSP in Auburn NY

sounds like it is getting tough over there SuperDad....going to give it a try here on Lake Ontario again this weekend to see how my luck holds out. Still looking for those Canadian custom stamps but haven't found any yet. Doesn't look like I will be able to make it up on the 26th right now..but will let you know if anything changes between now and then.

Greg,

The bait fish will disappear and all will be good again in the BoQ.

People are catching fish even though the place is full of baitfish, probably not as many as they would like.

July should be great for fishing.
