Was out to fish on Monday AM, hit the spots mentioned in the title, Nothing to report until I trolled a CC Shad at the Kingscourt Weedbed, nailed a 16" walleye.

The weeds are well-developed.

Went to fish the evening and was trolling along and noticed the water output from the back of the motor, similar to a prostrate problem, sort of sputtering.

Headed to shore ASAP, hauled the boat out and Hay Bay Larry ( friendly roadside assistance available to very close friends and relatives) popped down to help disassemble the lower unit. Water pump blades out of whack.

Thanks to Morch Marine in Belleville who had the parts in stock on Tuesday AM. Back to Bayview and HBL waiting to re-assemble the unit. Back together in under an hour and put the water-ear-muffs on and fired the mother up. Shazam!!!!! working like a charm.

Hope to be out next Monday.

Watch the water output of your motor.

Cheers

Saturday had five. Two around the church and 3 at Thompson's. Our first fish at Thompson's this year. They appear to be slowly coming back to some of the usual areas with the warmer weather finally appearing.

Tried Sherman's with no luck and no marks.

Sunday had 7 trolling from the pump house at the pig farm to the church back and forth.

Numerous sheephead thrown into the mix. My parents had a couple of bass with one of them close to 4 lbs on Sunday.

All caught on the Uzick's. Chartreuse and Orange both catching with the orange more prevalent. Anyways, this'll have to be a short post as I have a report for work to finish

cheers
Ken

Superdad and Ken,
Where about is the old church and Thompsons relative to Shermans and the pig farm? Thanks.

Thompson's point is directly across hay bay from shermans point. The old church is just south from the pig farm on the same shore. You will see the launch ramp just south of the pig farm[1/2 km] the church is just left of the ramp.....larry
