Big Island Fishing

well a few of us went out to big Island on Saturday night for a few hours, we cought quite a few Gobies (which we KILLED!!) the highlight was a 1 lb 1 oz perch, 3.2lbs walleye, and my personal best a 7lbs sheephead. we got a lot of smaller perch, few bass, and a pike as well, we were just wondering if anyone has a GREAT spot to try next time, as we were GREATLY disapointed in the amount of fish cought that night???

I don't fish the area near big island but can tell you the is lots of action in the hay bay area. The cove by thompsons point and mallory bay have ben good places recently. better luck next time...larry

i Love big island and big bay.... but i really dont fish for walleye...

i've had consistant action fish for bass and pike in the area...

i usually stay outta baycrest.
