Quinte Fishing

Took a cruise out to the Shermans Point boat ramp with the flashlight and there were glowing "eyes" everywhere! What a beautiful sight! Headed over to Long Reach to check out a few spots and the same at each stop also, glowing "eyes"!! To me this is the first sign of spring. Man, there are some very huge walleye in the B.O.Q.! I'm pumped, bring on opening weekend, and don't forget to buy your tickets to the areas fishing tournaments as fishermans luck just may come your way!!!

Hey there. We are seeing the same thing on Big Island and in Northport. The spawn is laying thick in some spots on the rocks. It's a great thing to see, gives us all hope. We are even seeing them rolling in shallow water in the afternoon, not just at night.
