The restaurant in the Tip of The Bay was open a couple of weeks back and the food was ok - nothing to write home about, but also didn't make me feel like dying after either! They also have a bar in there, so you won't have to drive.

Check out Currah's on the main drag. You can check out their menu and prices on their web site http://www.currahs.com/

Hey Tomcat,

Nice to see you made it over to the darkside :!:

I believe there is pizza joint named CJ's. Pretty decent pizza and they deliver to the Tip of the Bay :!: Not sure if they're eat in though!

We ate a couple of times at the Tip-of-the-Bay and had very good meals. Their ribs are great. We also ate at the Waring House a couple of times and the food was very good there also.

Carahs is the classiest place. It's about 150 yards from the 3 way intersection at the top of the hill west of the launch. South side.

For fancy "Currah's", or "The Warring House" are both fantastic but pricey.

For Pizza it's gotta be "Cj's". The Best

The best Subs in town "Imperial Subs". Great friendly staff.

The best Diner in town "Mikes Restaraunt". great home cooked meals.

Best Breakfast in town also "Mikes"

That about covers my favorites
:D

Angelo's is good for a sit down meal

CJ Pizza is also very good and will deliver right to Merland Park

Where is Mike's located?

Thx Spyman. The Liquor store I know. The one thing that was missing from my BOQ trips was the good diner breakfast. I was getting sick of McD’s egg McMuffins. Thanks again. Any idea what time they open in the morning?

They open pretty early, I'd say around 7. It's nothing fancy there, but you get a great meal for a decent price. We go there a couple of times a month for either breakfast or lunch. They usually have some good lunch or dinner specials on.

Hi Harry,

I recomend "Coach's Bar & grill" at the top of the hill. They've got great wings and more and the beer is cold. Tell the bartender Patio sent you in and they'll take care of you, you may see us in there if the water is rough. Have a great weekend!! Patio.
