Got out on Sat AM after launching at Shermans, made out launching solo, but two people is better. Fished around Shermans, marking fish in 28 feet near the Red Buoy, trolled over to West shore, didn't mark many over there.
Trolled past the Big Willow on west shore and headed to Thompsons, the wind was quite strong and after being battered thought a couple of passes thru Thompson Cove might get out of the wind, No Way Jose.
Headed back to Bayview around 1400, marked a number of fish close to Ram Is just east of the Dock in a couple of pockets of deep water.
Back out at 1600, now the wind is really blowing, so after a couple passes at Old CHurch Weedline, headed to launch site and back to camp.
Hit the water Sunday AM at 0745 with Superdad Sr., marked a lot of fish on west shore and met Hay Bay Larry out there, They trolled off and we headed to Thompsons Cove weedline to give it a try.
Hay Bay Larry and wife roared up to announce the catch and release of a 12.5 lber, She was very excited at the biggest walleye of her career. Trolling out in the deeper water was on the menu for the rest of the day.
We marked a lot of fish from 35 to 40 feet over towards the west shore, tried high/low/big/small couldn't find a taker.
I found the water very close to 53 degs F even up in Hay Bay. BAitfish schools scattered and closer to 30 fe\oot depths. Headed back to launch site at 1200, finished for the day.
Will give it a try next Saturday for the morning and see if they're in a biting mode.
