Hi folks,

Planning to take sometime this weekend to target bass in the upper section of the Bay.

Not looking for specific honey holes, just the general structure and type of cover I should experiment.

I would imagine Smallies are easier to target with the cold water.

Appreciate all your help!
Will

What are you doing targeting bass when the big walleye are on the move?

Hey Grateful some of us here (a minority I concede) like to chase bass just as much as chase eyes :P . I have been waiting for the wind to lay down on a weekend so I can get out and play on the big lake for smallies. Fortunately the season is extended here so there's still hope.
Young One I would try around the lake Ontario side of Amherst Is. I was talking with a buddy who was out that way and he mentioned once he found them (he didn't give me exact location) he caught fish smallies stop. He was fishing 25 ft to 45ft dragging tubes and drop shots
Good Luck
