Hey .Don't quit yet.I am 5 and 0 this season .Sometimes watching fish caught all around me.However I have had good days on the ice in previous seasons. So I just chalk it up to experience.Get pissed off and more determined. It will pay off yet.

It is like chasing broads, you might make 5 trips to the bar and go home with nothing to show for it. On that 6th trip, you meet somebody and ya maybe steal a kiss. Thats like missing a hit on the jig, but enough to give you some optimism. On ther 7th trip you get to take one home with ya and it becomes that much more gratifying because the more dissapointment you had the greater the satisfaction.

Yep no fish in quinte lol. In all seriousness if you can't find the eyes bring some light gear and get a good feed of jumbos. You have so many options other then hitting up the eyes so close. Also take a drive an hour north and put a smack down on some splake to cheer you up.

who knows maybe im just frustrated and i need to keep at it but only catching perch is getting old.and fishing by myself is getting boring.i never get the call anymore from the boys when they go fishing so im always fishing solo.makes for lots of room for me to stretch out in the hut though :D havent been out in almost three weeks now

not being out in three weeks could also be a problem, gotta be on the ice to get rid of the skunk

like my old fishing partner used to say" we need to find some ugly broads to get our confidence back"

All I can say is, that I wish I was in your boots, I've only had the chance to get out once this year. Don't take Grizz's advice, You will get fish, Hang in there. Go out with someone from the board, you'll get your fish.
