I just stick to companies that stand by their product. I prefer to give my money to the small shops but at the end of the day I need to eat too. I'm sure they didn't lie to you just to get you to buy the rod. Id still buy there buy there but choose a manufacturer that treats the customer like its the hand that feeds them.

I believe St Croix has a program where you can simply send it via Fed Ex to Mississauga and enclose $20 to cover administration, frieght. It all sounds like a miscommunication, that looks pretty simple to handle. It sounds like a pretty good price on an opening price point specialty rod?

new abu rods are amazing i love mine and used to always buy shimano starting to move away due to cost abu veritas rod partnered with new pfluger supreme xt is an awsome combo and light.

I've bought both paintball markers and fishing rods from Proadvantage. This post is a load of crap! The only warranty that I know about in the Quinte area that is in house, is at Quinte Outdoor Sports (Shimano). I WOULD ASK THE ADMIN TO GET RID OF THIS USELESS POST.
