Braid downfalls. Retains water and freezes quicker. Tangles are unmanagable. Expensive. If a fish hits once on it it is likely to feel the resistance and not strike again where mono fish will more often re hit. Inexperienced anglers are more likely to pull a hook. Strength isnt needed, walleye dont break line, people do. also by adding floro u have either added a knot or swivel which is more room for failure as well as something else to be seen by fish if you are worried about that. The added depth is not an advantage in the bay because every lure i use goes as deep as i would want to fish anyway without hurting the fish for release.
