First of all I don't need to throw a spud to tell me that the ice isn't safe to be on I think common sense would tell most people that. I live on the bay where there isn't hardly any current and Monday morning the majority of it out in front of my place was iced over but there were a lot of spots the size of swimming pools that weren't. These open spots were iced over on Tuesday morning, I'll bet you there wasn't 3.5 inches on those spots on Tuesday. I don't know what the big hurry is to get out there and take the risk for a fish and hope you're walking on 3.5 inches of ice. Oh well have fun be safe and good luck.

I think we all know one of these guys. Been so long since there was ice this wouldnt surprise me

There is three and half inches out there in alot of spots but warm weather and rain coming up are gonna wrrak havoc
