I'm good to go this Sat....All spooled up on my SG47 with 100 yds backing of 20lb Big Game, 6 colors 27lb Kerplunk and 55' Seagar fluro leader. Look out fish cause here I come !

Well...My first experience with lead core did not produce any Salmon during the 1st Port Whitby Fishing Association derby, nor did planer board presentations or down riggers....The previous days north winds it turned out moved the fish out over 250 ft of water....We stayed in the skinny water all day which turned out to be a big mistake....Thats the way it goes sometimes....As for the lead core....man thats a lot of line out there...I doubt I will be trying the lead out much more until the fall out in the good old BOQ...If I do and have experiences to report I certainly will...Thanks for all the replies...It sure did help me get started ! Sorry it took so long to report in.
