7:45...smallie... " " " " ...................................let go
8:05...walleye..." " " " ...................................let go
8:15...smallie... " " " " ...................................let go
8:30...rockbass (kiss of death time to go home)
Off the water by 9pm 8 fish caught one kept. This is a page out of my fishing log that I keep. And for the record I release all muskie and bass, keep a few perch and walleye. Those 3 pike I posted were the first 3 pike I've fished for and caught in about 20 years. I live on the Kawarthas, where pike are like gobies. Invading from Simcoe and moving south. Salmon, keeping 5 a year maybe... is hazardous enough, and those were my first trout of any kind.
It's great to see your keeping an eye on us there iceman...shake'm down and keep'm honest I say....
BTW I read a lot of "stories" of you all kick'n but on that mighty Quinte of your's..... but I don't see many pictures,
so I posted some. I hope to see some more. If anyone has a rough time cleaning their pike, I put together a pike cleaning post I have past around. It aint bad.
Cheers guys nice fish!!
