This morning I slowly approached "the gap" made by the tug last night. I was able to get around 100 yards from it and was on 7-8" of solid ice. Be careful going out in the dark. I watched a quad approach it this morning in the dark and was thinking, "I hope they know about that gap". They stopped about 50 yards from it thankfully!
I was out at Point Anne (West Side). The Tug went approximately 100 yards south of the Red Buoy (Q52) at Minnie Blakely Shoal, pretty much straight through to just north of the Green Buoy (Q53) at Rush Bar.
