I come down from Whitby, but my dad lives in Picton so I can use his place as my jumping off point and can store my hut and gear there which is great.

Hoping to get back out soon.

Good luck to all, stay safe.

Dave

Technically it is now called Laurentian Valley, however it is still regarded as being Pembroke by the Post Office. I walk across the road and I'm in Petawawa. Pretty good view of MacGregor Bay on the Ottawa River from my kitchen window. About 3.5 to 4 hours, depending on roads and weather.

Have a good one.

I usually don't admit to this but I come from Oshawa. I do have a trailer on West Lake that I go to every weekend from May to October.

I am living in Pembroke right and only get to fish the BOQ once or twice a year but we are hoping to be moving to the area in the next year.

Some of us Ottawa Valley boys should get in contact...maybe if we went down together we'd be able to take more than a trip or two a year. I know if I had someone to share the expenses with and help with some different ideas i'd be game. Just a thought

Travel from Goderich area (Dungannon) been up 3 times in the last 2 weeks, likely another 3-4 trips before season ends, takes about 4.5-5.5 hrs depending on what time of day we travel.
